Dragon Lady

Dragon Lady

Short, but so tall
Legs disappear under the cliff-
Zipper dress.
Calves of a woman
Who knows pleasure-
and pain.
Lips to chew on-
pencilled rouge.
My moulin turning
Its long course down-
And around;
Her eight arms, eight legs
Cover my body
Submerge me in the
                             Aquarium
                                              Tank.
Fish marvel,
Pop up to the surface;
Waves crash against
Sharp sand.
Kelp strangles a surfboard,
Tram tracks corrode
In the moist sun.
Through the pounding Pacific
A San Diegan breaks free
For the north.
