Future Queen of Sweden
A former king of Sweden hailed
From France, but Birgitta hails from
The somber town of Söderhamn.
The government gave her money to move to
Oslo, but she moved to California,
To ski the Sierra Nevada.
She’s tall like the Camellia-
Her deep flower blooms in winter.
We kissed eye-to-eye among the
Rock formations that
Reminded her Skatön,
We talked in heartspeak,
Devoid of ambiguity and doubt.
No second guessing or
Filling in the blanks.
She fondles facial growth
So I’m expressing my latent Spear-Dane.
For summer, she’ll go back
And for that I will follow
Sweden is now the place, for
France seems hollow.
